About Us

The Workplace Integration Centre will:

  • Provide employers and internationally trained professionals with appropriate tools and resources to aid in the integration of immigrants in the local workforce.
  • Increase awareness and capacity of employers to hire and retain internationally trained professionals
  • Provide dedicated resources and information to small and medium sized employers
  • Help internationally trained professionals achieve their career goals through meaningful employment.
  • Assist employers with creating a culture of inclusion

The Workplace Integration Centre is funded in part by Global Experience @ Work, an initiative of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, with support and funding from the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario. Global Experience @ Work (GE@W) is designed to better integrate internationally trained professionals into the labour force by facilitating a bridge between workers and potential employers. This is the second phase of GE@W in which the OCC has provided $1,000,000 in grants to 15 community projects led by local chambers of commerce and boards of trade throughout the province.

The views expressed in the website are the views of the Recipient and do not necessarily reflect those of the OCC or the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.

The Workplace Integration Centre is also funded by ALLIES; a Maytree idea.
